Q: Hello, Would you be kind enough to clarify few disparities I found when I was trying to familiarise myself with your software.

You say on your help centre and in this URL specifically: https://www.chanty.com/help/article/delete-a-conversation/
“Delete a conversation: Currently, only the team space creator can delete conversations in Chanty web or desktop.” However, I found that general conversations cannot be deleted on the contrary of the print screens you listed in the earlier mentioned URL, which show the steps required to delete a general conversation, which was the example in the print screens.

In the same URL stated above, you say: “Mind that your conversation will be permanently deleted and all its content (messages, files, links, etc.) will be removed.” However, I found that deleting private conversations does not remove their content from the history timeline/team activity feed. Moreover, even after deleting the conversation by the team on, other team members are still able to initiate conversations in the deleted private conversation from this history timeline/team activity feed.

I would be very grateful if you can explain these disparities and let us know if there are on their way to be solved by your technical team.

A: Hi, you've raised this question in our support system and it was addressed.

Yes, you can't delete "general" conversation because Chanty needs it as initial conversation. You were trying to delete it 13 times actually.

Then the rest 9 conversations you were deleting were deleted and all information from them gone from the system on your account and accounts of other people in your team, search indexes were cleared and history/timeline were erased.

Please provide any evidence, like video or screencast that it is not working. we were asking you for the same in the support center and didn't got any reply
