Its been a year since I bought this deal. At the beginning you know they are in start up mode and bugs are normal, but....SAME bugs after a year. Support is inconsistent and very slow.

Ive email many times about this and other issues that continue to happen for months: you can't use space bar in the ticket pop up, if you are recording an audio and your phone blocks you lose the whole audio, audios that get deleted when you finish for no reason, and now I don't get notifications for messages - I only see them when opening the conversation manually, you can't delete messages in the open group, and so on.

Made the mistake back in the day to upgraded to the business plan because of the calls and TO THIS DAY not a single person in a team of 30+ people has been able to make a call, not even share screen.

Asked for a downgrade to just my Appsumo plan because I don't want to be paying 1K a year for something that doesn't even work.

You know what happened? Blocked me and my team out of our accounts and nobody is responding in customer service.

Just awful.

We was testing chanty in the free plan for few days before purchase de deal.
In general terms we are happy with the app, (Before my purchase team was working with trello and whatsapp).

just some things to note:
- I can confirm roles and permissions are available now in appsumo plan (Also allow me to hide email for non admin users).
- Video (one to one) and audio calls are not reliable, sóme times didnt work fine, hangs, or have bad audio video quality. (ended using whatsapp few times for this problems).
- We have limited storage, but admins can,t delete files from other users (will be nice admins can delete files from others users to free space).
- I miss option to format text (at least Bold, and bullet/lists).
- Tasks can be assigned only for one user at a time (will be nice to assign it for more than one like i do in trello).
- Tasks only allow to put a title, will be nice an option to add full description with formateable text, image and list/bullets, and keep this description pined in discussions).
-Android app dont allow me to see tasks in kanban view (only list view available in mobile).
- Desktop app (for mac) when i switch from different app, and want to type directly , i need to click exactly in text input area and then type, if make click in middle of the screen, and type, not work).

- Waiting for Zoom Integration and Google meet, also google calendar will be nice to have (i have readed that is pending google review only)

By the rest we are loving the app, obviously I miss the option to share screen, at least one to one in the appsumo plan.

Group Videocalls, with the integration in google meets or zoom is enough for me. I think that instead of having a group video call that works poorly, it is better to focus on other options and have a good integration with zoom / google meet (my opinion).

I signed up for a free account around 10 days ago to test out Chanty before buying it here on AppSumo and I really like its simplicity. It's obviously a dummy account - no real projects entered, just testing out functionalities. I bought a code yesterday, and wasn't able to upgrade my existing account. I tried deleting the old one. I explained the problem to the customer service and they promised to upgrade my account manually. It's been more than a day now. My new client waits for an invite to join my Chanty team, but it's not possible since I'm still under a free plan.

Unfortunately, I will have to go for a refund and get SmartTask instead, plus WhatsApp for communication.

I'm blown away by this deal.
Grabbed 3 codes and will be moving away from Slack in favor of Chanty. :)
