Sometimes I get overwhelmed with all the uncomfortable tasks in my life and they start piling up. I would use a website then to note everything down and start checking boxes to have a visual satisfaction that I am moving forward.
There are plenty of great mobile apps but I am a PC user and that seriously limits the amount of innovative and simple tools which are available for free or without a monthly subscription.
I tested the Chaos Control mobile app and then downloaded the PC software which both have free trials.
The desktop software convinced me that this is the solution to my problems. In the Chaos Box I throw in all the tasks which accumulate and at the same time I can manage my many work projects in an efficient way.
The task list is synced to the phone so I can have a widget with reminders.
One thing I am missing is the possibility to set project, priority and task colors.
In the calendar the "Also available: xx Tasks" would be nice if if would separate in tasks which are due tomorrow, this week, this month, and later.
Mindmapping features would be amazing too.
Overall I highly recommend this tool.
