Q: If we are only using our own API key, are there any messaging, character, or other limits?
Also, is there a way to set a hard limit on output in the event something goes wrong or someone were to hack our account? (This would be to prevent having a huge OpenAI bill.) It would also be great if we could get an email alert if something went wrong in that regard or it hit the threshold.

May 15, 2024A: If you add your own key, the character limits per chatbot still apply but there will be no limit on the number of messages.
On OpenAI you can set a soft limit (you get notified when its reached) and a hard limit (the api stops working when reached)
