I purchased a license for ChatBase with high expectations. The promise of this tool is quite impressive: train the AI with the information from your website and create a chatbot capable of effectively answering users' questions.

I incorporated this application into three of my clients websites, creating three different chatbots in the hope of enhancing user experience and addressing their questions more efficiently. However, the results were disappointing.

I found the responses provided by the chatbots to be overly vague. For instance, when asked about a specific service, the chatbots would only provide the most basic information and then urge the users to send an email for further help. I had to ask three or four very specific questions in order to get the correct answer. This is not the type of immediate and comprehensive assistance I was hoping for.

Moreover, one of the most notable issues was the chatbots' inability to provide pricing information. Despite the service prices being clearly stated on my websites, the chatbots simply responded that there were many different prices and suggested contacting via email. This limitation is frustrating and does not serve to enhance user experience.

My rating for ChatBase is 2 tacos. While the idea behind the application is promising, the execution leaves much to be desired. The chatbots need to be capable of providing more specific and helpful responses to truly be an improvement rather than a hindrance. I hope significant improvements can be made in future updates.
