Q: Very intriguing.
I was using Perfect Recall to generate short clips to share, and I will miss them when they shut down soon.
Do you have a good business plan to make money and stay in business Long term?
Can I upload audio, such as an audio podcast in mp3 format?
Can you host and serve clips, so I can share them with colleagues? If so, do you offer custom domains?
Is editing transcriptions easy?
Are you planning to integrate with Zoom to record conversations, so people with free Zoom accounts could use your service to capture video recordings?
Are you planning to allow users to record video conferences directly on your website (possibly with scheduling)?
Thank you!

May 15, 2024A: Thanks for your question also, ThorstonMeyer, sure thing.
Our vision is to help professionals unlock the moments that matter across all of their long-form content. This allows them to create short, shareable content in video, audio, image and written form with their audiences. We're trying to solve the massive disconnect between the long-form content brands create and the short-form content their audiences actually consume.
It's still very early days for chopcast, but we see it becoming the short-form content engine that makes it easy to create and share creations across all internal and external channels in all the formats that matter to them.
We work closely with our customers to understand how to make chopcast increasingly valuable for them and their colleagues over time.
Hi drleeds , thanks for your q!
1. Yes. We're mostly bootstrapped but have received some funding recently. We've been in business for the last 3-4 years :)
2. Yes. Chopcast currently understands audio podcasts and video content, and it's just the start. Think whitepapers, ebooks, and more.
3. That is coming VERY soon. We're launching this next after the appsumo campaign is complete, and any users part of the appsumo group will automatically get access to this. Its actually part of a much larger, exciting module we'll be launching.
4. Yes. Our transcription accuracy is always getting better, and editing them is a one-click process. We're constantly trying to figure out how to make it easier, for example like introducing a glossary feature where users can add words unique to their industry or use case (e.g: industry abbreviations, names, brands, and so on).
5. Absolutely.
6. That’s a great idea. It’s not in our roadmap right now, but we're always keeping an eye out on feature requests and prioritizing them based on impact (how helpful will this be and to how many people). Please keep your ideas coming so we can keep documenting and discussing them.

Can share your mind on what will be possible?
