I purchased five codes ... what a total nightmare to set up.
What you have to do is repeat signup steps 1-16 (their actual instructions) for EACH code.

Of course, I screwed up the last code, and made an error in the email address. So that user can't be verified or log in - ever.

That all said, I did not buy this for the alerts.
I purchase PressRush ($500/Year) and NinjaOutReach (about $300/Year). I can't afford Cision ($3k/Year), BuzzSumo ($79/Month - over $800/Year), or MuchRack (also expensive).

NinjaOutreach provides scraped media contacts, and has some value ranking journalists and influencers.

PressRush is much better and getting good results for journalists and influencers. It also links to their articles so I can see who I want to contact.

I like the features of Buzzsumo to track journalists and influencers, just not the price.

So this is the ONLY reason I purchased CivicFeed. I'll try it out and may revise my review. So far ... getting this setup was awful. But ... I remain optimistic that it will perform. As a PR pro, I hope it will let me search for journalists and influencers with better results than the other tools. If so, this deal would be totally worth it - even with the nightmare setup.
