Find out if the number is a mobile # or a fixed line!
I would give this 3.5-4 stars.
It does what it says and will validate the number. It will tell you the location and type. It's great to see if leads use their personal cell number or a fixed line number. Downside, the other info like showing the company the that belongs to the phone carrier is wrong. It uses old companies names instead of at&t, verizon, tmobile, etc. Wish it could be more accurate and have more info like name, gender, etc. Other wise it validates the number.
Another down thing is.. it costs you credits to download a bulk file. So 1 credit for validating and another to download into excel sheet. So if you have a good amount of numbers then your credits will diminish real quickly.

We have improved our accuracy. Btw, credits will be used only for the validation and not for download. In case if we unable to validate the number credit won't be used. Please reach out to us if you require further clarification
We use a few other services for this and we compared them on a dozen numbers in Europe & US. Unfortunately, the answers were mostly wrong or inaccurate. They mostly the first network owner of the number, not the current one. Plus they give you the original legal name of the company, not the current one (like Cingular instead of AT&T). It might be useful if you just need to know if the number 'exists' but not if you need to know the actual carrier.

If you need to validate numbers for calling or texting, this is easy and a great value. API makes it very capable to run processes with other tools. Good buy.
Great tool to verify the validity of phone numbers but we cannot find the identity of the person with the phone number. This feature could be very interesting to Link phone numbers and the owners. Hope this will come

Hi sormick,
Thanks a lot for the review and tacos, yes identification is in our pipeline and we are working on it and will keep you updated about the progress.
If your business requires verification and validation of customer information entered by the Sales team, the monthly credits will come in handy, specially in integrating this with your technology stack like CRM and chatbots. Of course there is the possibility that the number is valid but "incorrect" because it does not belong to the customer themselves.
++ Integrations with Hubspot, Zapier Coming Soon: Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, Google Sheets, Close.io, Keap
Would be useful to integrate with all those form builders that were launched on appsumo!
Thank you for coming to Appsumo!
Cheers,

Not yet up to the competition
