Q: i don't understand how it works

If it works it's truly a must have app, but I have to understand how it works to believe it. in the sense that Google decides when to show the ad and therefore after the user clicks, how do you block it, because at the click event Google has already counted the click. I don't understand what you block, if you block the user on Google (impossible) or block the user on my site (but google has already counted).

A: Thank you for the great question! Let me explain how ClickMoat works in detail:

ClickMoat operates after the ad click to analyze and prevent invalid or fraudulent activity. While Google does count the initial click, our AI-based system tracks user behavior once they land on your website. Here’s how:

1. We analyze factors like IP addresses, device details, VPN/proxy usage, and engagement patterns in real time. Suspicious behaviors—like short sessions, rapid repeated clicks, or known bot signatures—are flagged immediately.

2. Once flagged, these users are blocked from accessing your website again. This prevents them from repeatedly clicking your ads and wasting your budget.

3. Our machine learning algorithms improve over time by identifying global fraud patterns and adapting to new threats.

While we can’t stop Google from counting the initial click, our system ensures invalid users don’t impact your campaigns further.

This drastically reduces wasted ad spend, improves traffic quality, and boosts your ROI.

I hope this helps clarify how it works!

Let me know if you’d like me to explain further or arrange a quick demo.

in point 2 when you write: these users will no longer be able to access your website, what do you mean? The Google ad remains and if they click, the users return to my site and the click is counted, you cannot block them

To clarify, while it’s true that Google counts the initial click, ClickMoat cannot stop that because Google controls ad delivery. However, after the user lands on your website, our system blocks flagged users from accessing your site again. This means if the same user tries to click your ad multiple times, they won’t be able to interact with your site, reducing repeated invalid clicks and protect

thanks for your patience, you don't stop the clicks, you simply block my site, but the click bots that are created to click and not to interact with the site, will continue to click and be counted, I honestly don't see any advantage for me, or rather, the same for the user who intends to consume my credit, clicks more times, he doesn't care if the site is visible or not. I think so
