Invoicing is very buggy
Like many people in Australia I was looking to replace WAVE apps as they now only service North America. Clientjoy looked like a great replacement and it has a nifty sales tracking CRM too!
Alas not so.
I found that when I created a recurring invoice and set it to go out at some point in the future that it was sent straight away regardless. The start date meant nothing.
The "solution" I was given by support was to keep it as a draft until the day it is due to send it. Then send it. Thus starting the cycle at the correct time.
Having invested so much time in setting it up I resigned myself to doing this.
Then one of my customers said she couldn't access the invoices via the link because of her browser ad blocker. I said why didn't she just open the PDF that was attached - and she told me she never ever got a PDF.
After chatting with support I find out I cant do that either!!
It's an invoicing program that can't be scheduled properly and doesn't allow you to attach PDFs of the invoice. I could just as easily hand generate them and email them!!
I gave the program 2 tacos overall because I have yet to use the other (non invoice) functions so can't say if they are working correctly or not.
Sadly I am well outside my refund period.
For SIMPLE invoicing it would probably be fine. For anything more complex - forget it.
