Q: REFUND PLEASE!
Here's why...
1. The AppSumo deal does not include their automation features or their White-Label upsell .. For that, it will cost you another $997.00/year or a $2,997.00 for their "Real WhiteLabel LTD" lifetime deal. How very "Clever" of them. They need to be more upfront about this. :(
BUT WAIT, IT GETS WORSE ...
2. The main selling point of this "clever" software is to help your clients practice something called "Review Gating", which I just found out is now BANNED by Google and deemed ILLEGAL by the FTC, who just fined a company $4.2 MILLION for this very same practice.
( See: .. https://www.nearmedia.co/ftc-drops-a-4-2-review-abuse-fine/ )
3. NOTE: Clients can turn the primary "Review-gating" feature off, but again, there goes the main selling point of this entire software .. why would any client want to pay you for software that encourages 1-2 star raters to leave negative reviews on Google, Facebook etc, where it will hurt them the most? They can do that themselves without software.
BUYER BEWARE ...
Sorry, I do not want to get fined, or sued by my clients. Therefore, I can NOT recommend this. If you got the White Label edition, then you're the one getting fined .. because it's now YOUR NAME at stake, not Climbo's. I feel terrible for everyone who paid $3,000 to later find out they might get fined by the FTC and can't get their money back.

May 15, 2024A: 1. Please note that the automation features cost us $9/month/user, you can easily understand that we can't sell this for a 49$ lifetime deal but just under a recurring fee, that's why this is under the white-label plan.
2. Our system is compliant with Google policies. If the end customer clicks on 1-3 stars, he has the possibility to leave private feedback or, clicking on the button below the page, to leave the review publicly on Google or the other integrated platforms. So, unhappy customers are not forced to leave a private feedback if their experience was negative, but can still leave a public review. This is 100% compliant with policies and not a review gating system.
Very helpful I'm glad I seen this !
Read this and then tell me if showing a tiny bit of text (easy to overlook) when people are unhappy is not 'discouraging'. To me, it is. Therefore, it will be against Google's policy. Here the text: "Google has added language to its contributor guidelines for local reviews stating clearly that “discouraging or prohibiting negative reviews, or selectively soliciting positive reviews from customers,” violates Google’s policies.". Climbo is not prohibiting negative reviews. But that is not the only factor as you can see.
Any substantial difference (including messaging or font size) between the path for positive responses and negative responses would be a violation of BOTH Google and the FTC ... so I do not see this as compliant in any way.
The text on top of the "negative experience" page can be edited. So, if the user wants to be sure to be 100% compliant, can include in the text to click the button below to leave a public review.
