Exactly what I needed

I was skeptical of this app at first — the interface looks dated, and often that means the product is poorly supported. That's not the case here. Every single detail related to function has been extremely well thought-through. I use this product as a client portal, and initially intended it to be just for a repo for team and client communication. Instead, I got the perfect way to manage tasks, keep everyone updated, manage a calendar, and stay organized while we try to execute on tight deadlines.

What would I change? The look is a big one. It has an early-2000's office feel, which isn't the most important thing, but it will leave an impression on my clients. I think the simplest solution which would satisfy me is a way to drop in our own CSS for our portals. Boom.

Unlike many others here, I don't find the storage to be a big issue. We use the portal for collaboration, but once a project is finalized, it goes into the cloud anyway. What they need is unlimited clients for app sumo users. They have unlimited 'guests', which is for people with view-only permissions, which is not helpful for me. I need to be able to have a back and forth with those guests and know who is saying what. I understand the need to gatekeep a little, but maybe a different kind of limitation, such as guests can only be members of a single group? That way, you know we're not just loading up with our own team members, but also allow us to dole out seats to clients without having to keep a running tally of how many users are out there and who needs their seat removed. I know you can upgrade the number of seats by paying a subscription price, but let me tell you now - that is never going to happen. If the number of seats gets untenable, then I'll sadly have to move on.

Sumolings, don't let that last piece turn you off from this deal unless you'll immediately surpass the seat limitations. This is still a great app, and time will tell if it's a lifetime deal for us or not.
