LinkedIn data isn't current
I purchased a license in January 2022 and then upgraded when the Closely 2.0 feature was introduced in Q4 2022. When running sample reports in Lead Finder, the contact information isn't current LinkedIn data. Contacts are often no longer with the organization and titles are not current with existing contacts.
I also noticed many LinkedIn contacts are not accessible when using Closely. I reached out for comment and was told not all the contacts in the LinkedIn portal are current and that no LinkedIn scraping platform will provide full access to the entire LinkedIn portal. This is an issue when trying to pull accurate contact information for cold outreach. I've had a Sales Navigator license for going on 12 years and Closely should be able to pull current, accurate data from the SN portal. I'm sorry I invested in the tool and wish I could get my money back.

For Linkedin campaigns we always recommend importing your own Linkedin / Sales Navigator Search URL to be 100% sure you're targeting according to first-party data. When exporting emails, we offer free email verification service that excludes inactive corporate addresses in case the person is no longer with the company their email address is associated with.
Just as my team mentioned, we are actively scraping contacts to make sure they're as fresh as possible, but considering the way businesses are naturally, it is quite hard to keep up 100% with the actual state of things, especially if you consider we are working with a third party that's not directly accessible.
