Q: Since the time I am using closely, I received message that I am using Account automation tool.

I contacted Closely HQ team & they informed me to leave it for 4-5 days & then slowly rampup again. I did exactly the same. But now, I am facing the same Account Restriction message. FYI, your tactic doesnt work & could tamper accounts that I have built in many years now.
What steps are you planning to resolve this?

Message received from LINKEDIN:
We've restricted your account temporarily
We noticed unusual activity from your account. This includes an unusually large number of profile views and/or viewing patterns that indicate the use of an automated tool.

To help guard against abuse and to protect Member privacy, we don’t permit the use of software tools that automate activity on LinkedIn. We also limit accounts from viewing an unusually large number of Member profiles.

We showed you a warning about this previously, so for now, we have restricted your account until February 15, 2023 4:14 AM PST. Please try signing in again after this time, and note that engaging further in such activity may result in permanent restriction of your account.

funny thing, I got the same warning this morning. I am waiting for Closely HQ support to get back to me on how to resolve this issue.

Hi! Could you also send me a message to [email protected], so I could take a look at how the resolution goes so far? Thanks.

Same problem here too.

We just started using Closely to try it out.

We put it on the very lowest possible settings, to keep risk to an absolute minimum.

For the first time in over 15 years of using LinkedIn, when we logged into LinkedIn we were presented with a warning message stating it had detected automated activity and stating we may be banned. It linked us to : https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a1340567?lang=en_US

This is extremely worrying. We've never received such a warning from trialling any other LinkedIn tool.

Why is this happening?

Is it because you only have US IPs and we are based in the UK?
