The software isnt working
A number of things that don't work:
1) Closely doesn't recognize Event URLs and says there is an error. I tried two events and they turned out the same.
2) it doesn't have A/B testing for messaging.
3) Doens't always pick up "Company name" of the prospects (under Group URLs). I manually check the prospects on their personal LinkedIn account and they have an active role but Closely isn't able to pick it up.
4) It also doesn't have a function at step 4 (final check) for manually editing fields such as company name etc.,
I reached out to the support team through their live chat and they said to investigate into it.
I would expect a two year old product could function as it is advertised.
The three tacos are given due to nice interfaces and good intention on the business.

I must say that the issues 1 and 3 might be present occasionally in the tools that were on the market for several years: having a product that works with a third-party comes with a few dependencies and there are hundreds of changes that LInkedin includes on their frontend that we only learn about when an issue occurs (after which it goes into our backlog to get fixed), i.e. they often roll out changes to their front-end on a subset of profiles.
I agree that A/B testing and the ability to edit some things before starting the campaign are good ideas. We want Closely to help with our customer's tasks, so if those prove to be something a lot of our users want - we'll do it.
