CloudFilt CDN WAF

Q: How is it possible that performance + page speed nosedived with CloudFilt?

Team, a website I tested went from scoring 90 in performance grade and 182 milliseconds in load time to 85 and 4.43 seconds with CloudFilt using the same San Francisco test server on Pingdom. How is this possible?

A: A temporary drop in performance may occur when CloudFilt is first activated due to DNS propagation and the cache not yet being populated. Load times generally improve within a few hours, and end users benefit from better performance thanks to the CDN and WAF.

Thank you for this explanation. Unfortunately, for me, this did not happen. A few days after DNS propagation, performance stayed at 85, and speed went down to 4.51 seconds. I am reverting to the setup I had beforehand.
