My first experience with CloudFit CDN/WAF: from attack to a secure site in 5 minutes
I never really cared about CDNs—until hackers took down my site. Looking for a way to harden WordPress, I finally found a reliable Czech hosting provider with integrated CloudFit CDN and WAF.
CloudFit is my very first CDN/WAF, and the setup couldn’t have been easier: with the official plugin and a clear guide, everything was up and running in five minutes. Since then, the dashboard keeps showing me how many attacks are blocked every day—fascinating and a bit scary at the same time.
As a complete beginner I left most of the default settings untouched, and everything just works. Still, I’d love more beginner‑friendly resources—short tutorials or a YouTube channel with how‑tos, recommendations, and case studies. It would help to know when I can safely ignore the settings and when I should tweak something.
Overall, getting started with CloudFit was surprisingly straightforward; I finally feel my site is truly protected, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to test CloudFit and learn how to secure my websites even better.
