Clunky now, but it has the potential for greatness.

Hi Sumolings,

This is the first purchase I am making through my new business. My partner has been a sumoling for almost 5 years, and introduced me to them last year. I have bought about 7 deals personally, but we decided that it would be best for record keeping to make all purchases through the company now. No doubt here, we are app sumo lifers. Like the others here, my review of this product is not as good as I would hope it to be.

I purchased it specifically because they said on the webinar that they would add GMB to their platform. Now they are telling me that they will only add it if they get enough of us complaining! As for the software itself, I am still not able to use the "agency manager" user - which is the one I want (but it doesn't show up in my dropdown list). Currently, we can not access all the features of the calendar at the same time without, one needing approvals.

Yesterday I figured out how to make my super admin a user. I posted to fb, twitter and linkedin with no problem. Everything went smooth. I used the omni-box for a comment, and it worked, although once I replied, the comment disappeared and I cant seem to find it again even by trying to see history by date in the omni-box. Its a little clunky, but most of it seems to be working as they claim, with the exception of my user list.

If you plan on trying CloudSocial, be really careful about your inputs, such as social media urls and email because it seems that we don't have access to make any changes ourselves. We have to send in a support ticket and they will do it for us at their convenience.

I would say that if they add GMB, instagram, fix the time zone issue, and allow super-admin to change/delete their email and social media accounts on their own when required, this could be a leading contender for social media calendars in the future.

Crello: First time I tried it did not work at all, then after I figured out the user issue, I was able to use it. The url dropped right onto the posting page in CloudSocial so I could submit it for posting. I also made my own ad and posted it from the calendar. Both worked great and were smooth.

Moving forward, if they stick by their word, this will be a slick product and definitely a great value. I have trust issues right now because they have not yet fixed my "agency manager" user issue, and it is supposed to be a basic feature to the product, that's why I am debating between a 3 taco and 4 taco rating.

I am overall happy with the software now that I can see how it works. I will be keeping it and maybe even buying a few more codes.
