PotionsTeacherQ: AMAZON T2.MICRO 1% (Connected and Inspecting server)
I am trying to connect amazon's t2.micro instance. I entered the server ip address (ipv4) and entered the root password. However it is stuck at 1% .
It says:
Installation Status: 1% (Connected and Inspecting server)
From 30 minutes, there is no movement further. Is there any guidance regarding this? I wanted to use this instance for sending and receiving emails.

Aug 29, 2024A: You might be using Ubuntu 24.04, please reinstall the server with Ubuntu 22.04 or 20.04 LTS to install CloudStick.
We are currently adding support for Ubuntu 24.04 and will become available by Next week.
Thank you for your comments. I just had a stellar support from Mr Ryan from cloudstick. As per him, for amazon ec2, there is no automatic install and he sent me guide for manual install. It worked perfectly fine. This is just for the understanding of others who want to use free amazon ec2 as their business email provider.

I don't think Amazon will allow you to send emails from the server, you would have to configure any SMTP relay service to send emails.
