Q: Cmaps is an interesting tool that you should give a chance.
However, the approach is not as revolutionary as stated. Practically the same function can be achieved with a mind mapping tool and the comment function.
*What bothers me is that there is probably no way to fix the text window. It then always overlaps the mind map area when opened.*
The program is also in an early stage of development, but I'm excited to see what's to come. Without unique selling points, I hardly see any chance of adding value compared to conventional mind maps (concept maps) with comment functions.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback.
Your observation regarding the text window overlap has caught our attention. Rest assured, we're planning enhancements to the layout and other UX/UI aspects to address concerns like yours.
Regarding the comparison with traditional mind-mapping tools: CMAPS adopts a unique approach, focusing more on enhancing the note-taking process rather than mind-mapping or brainstorming. Our goal is to streamline how information is recorded and retained, offering a distinct alternative that prioritizes effective note-taking.
I appreciate your insights. Thank you for helping us improve.
