Lots of features
So far I'm really liking Nodeland, although I have hit a couple of frustrations - the first is there being no real instructions or easy to access Help for some of the basic functions (like how to connect two existing nodes). With a little experimentation, it's easy enough to eventually figure things out, but I'd rather have at least a small FAQ that explains all of the basic working and buttons available. I think the bigger frustration is the lack of ability to restore something accidentally deleted. There is a "redo/undo" button, but it does not seem to restore something even immediately after accidentally deleting a node. The AI integration really makes it so much more useful than any of the other mind-mapping programs I've used, and I'm looking forward to really exploring more ways that it can create these mind maps!

Sep 24, 2025Thanks for the thoughtful review!
- Help/FAQ: I totally agree. We’ll prioritize a clearer, more complete set of help resources.
- Undo/Redo & deletes: If the restore didn’t work as expected, I’d like to investigate. Please share any details you can. We also keep backups for every document change, so we can assist with restoring your content if needed.
Thanks again for pushing us to improve...

Dithering screen and limited utility on mobile device
I bought this software mainly after reading the AI capabilities. I already had "Simple Mind" lifelong app on Google Play Android . As I experienced dithering and slippery nodes jumping all the time with nodeland.io, I tried my old app "simple mind" from android. It has latest feature to create mind maps from XML bases OPML from ChatGPT. Just copied the code chatgpt there and I got stable, powerful mind map with HD print, pdf etc
This product of Nodeland.io will take years to achieve that feat. But I expect some additions in future. I am thankful to this nodeland.io as it motivated me to tweak with the android software latest happenings and I could really use it often now. Anyway I wish nodeland.io all the best!

Sep 24, 2025Thanks for the 5 tacos and the candid feedback! 🙏 You’re right: on some Android devices touch can feel slippery — we’re going to work out on improvements to drag/zoom stability. About the “nodes jumping,” that might be related to the new auto-positioning; based on feedbacks like yours, we’re making it off by default (with a toggle) so you keep full manual control. Appreciate you helping us...

Please add these MUST HAVE POWERFUL features!
- Group into container.
- I can select a node (with hidden ID), or a group of nodes (with hidden group ID), and ask AI questions to do something.
- Because I have many external tools that are more powerful than Nodeland's AI, I want Nodeland to focus strongly on its unique core strengths, meaning its distinctive features as software, rather than using AI to answer various questions or other functionalities that other software have. Some examples include: Nodeland's AI should be able to understand what I select and do things accordingly, such as AI formatting nodes, AI arranging nodes logically, AI renaming nodes with appropriate titles. To achieve this, AI must understand the IDs of the nodes I select.
- Nodeland should not be standalone software initially, because there is too much to do, risky and competition is fierce. Nodeland should be a hub, an essential part of our workflow in the begining, especially if we are accustomed to using tools like Taskade or Xmind.
