Please add these MUST HAVE POWERFUL features!
- Group into container.
- I can select a node (with hidden ID), or a group of nodes (with hidden group ID), and ask AI questions to do something.
- Because I have many external tools that are more powerful than Nodeland's AI, I want Nodeland to focus strongly on its unique core strengths, meaning its distinctive features as software, rather than using AI to answer various questions or other functionalities that other software have. Some examples include: Nodeland's AI should be able to understand what I select and do things accordingly, such as AI formatting nodes, AI arranging nodes logically, AI renaming nodes with appropriate titles. To achieve this, AI must understand the IDs of the nodes I select.
- Nodeland should not be standalone software initially, because there is too much to do, risky and competition is fierce. Nodeland should be a hub, an essential part of our workflow in the begining, especially if we are accustomed to using tools like Taskade or Xmind.

Thanks for the tacos and for the great suggestions!
Grouping into a container will be added to our roadmap. Same for the AI improvements that you have suggested.
Regarding NodeLand’s distinctive features and competition: totally agree. Our positioning is a bit different from other tools.
NodeLand delivers something rarer and more useful: connection-first knowledge that retains its depth. It’s the only place where your map is your document. And these documents grow and move with your ideas. Every node you add, connect, or expand is a step in a living, evolving web of thought.
Fragmented resources create switching costs. Why keep switching between whiteboard → document → YouTube video → whiteboard if everything can live in a NodeLand's map?
