Thank You
I am a visual thinker, a creative/visionary, and a doer all rolled into one person - which creates all kinds of problems for me if I do not map out my thoughts.
I just purchased this and it has already been a better alternative to GraphCommons. The simplicity, delivery on the promise, and the ability to share via link and embed is greatly appreciated.
I plan on using and celebrating Cmaps for the foreseeable future. If possible, these would be amazing updates:
1. Importing from (or more ideally syncing with) a Google sheet for more complex ideas or using existing data
2. Make the edges editable to change the directionality (to show interdependencies and not just a one-way relationship that requires two lines to represent interdependencies)
3. A grid that users can turn on and off to allow them to see the alignment of nodes?
4. Connection to Unsplash or other free images service to bring in images for nodes
5. Ability to run basic network link analysis (e.g. produce quick reports on the centrality of an idea or information)
6. Auto layout options that allow you to see the relationships from multiple perspectives and return to your preferred layout (original creation, hierarchy, centrality, etc.)
7. Workspaces/Team Interface to stack codes and have team members be able to use under the same account
Thank you again for such a helpful and straightforward product. Wishing all the best...

May 9, 2024Hello, Samartin!
I'm glad to hear that Cmaps has been valuable in organizing your note-taking process as a visual thinker. This is exactly what we had in mind when we created it. Thank you for your suggestions! I anticipate that some of them, such as numbers 2, 3, and 6, will be included in the next release. Rest assured that we are working hard to make Cmaps the go-to solution for visual thinkers like us!
