Q: How do I link a team OKR to a company OKR and a how do I link individual OKRs to a team's OKR?
Not sure how the cascading effect works

Let me know if you need further assistance.
The progress of the Parent Objective is calculated according to the progress of the Sub-Objectives. If you do not enter weights in your Sub-Objectives, your Objective progress will not be calculated by the system. If you entered only one Sub-Objective, the weight must be 100%.
Based on Sub-Objectives weight, the progress of the main Objective will be calculated automatically
The progress of the Team Objective is calculated according to the progress of the Key Results(Individual Objectives). If you do not enter weights in your Key Results, your Objective progress will not be calculated by the system. If you entered one Key Result, the weight must be 100%.
That's simply how cascading works in ConectoHub

I am figuring things out for myself. The hierarchy I want to to create looks something like this:
Company Objectives - Annual
--Company KRs - Annual
Team 1 Objectives - Annual
--Team 1 KRs - Annual
--Team 1 Objectives - Qtr 1
--Team 1 KRs - Qtr 1
--Team 1 Objectives - Qtr 2
--Team 1 KRs - Qtr 2
--Team 1 Objectives - Qtr 3
--Team 1 KRs - Qtr 3
--Team 1 Objectives - Qtr 4
--Team 1 KRs - Qtr 4
--Individual 1 Objectives - Qtr 1
--Individual 1 KRs - Qtr 1
--Individual 1 Objectives - Qtr 2
--Individual 1 KRs - Qtr 2
--Individual 1 Objectives - Qtr 3
--Individual 1 KRs - Qtr 3
--Individual 1 Objectives - Qtr 4
--Individual 1 KRs - Qtr 4
1. How can I achieve the above with your system, where the lowest hierarchy feeds into the next hierarchy till you get to the company OKR which is the highest hierarchy?
2. I want to be able to:
a. Link KRs to Parent objectives or other KR's of my choice
b. Re-arrange the teams in any order I prefer
3. How different are key results from sub-objectives?
4. Where do I find the following features: KPI, outcomes and initiatives?
5. Can you convert an objective to KR or sub-objective and vice versa?
6. Can an individual be part of multiple teams?
Hey,
That's a great structure. I will try to explain but if you need help further you can reach me on email or support button. Here is my email: emre.akyol@conectohub.com
We can set up a meeting in the next days for your OKR adoption.
1. You need to add Company Objective at the top of the Objectives(Level 1) and then you need to add Company KR and Sub-Objective(Annual Team Objective) in the Company Objective(Level 2). This is the top level hierarchy for you. Then, You need to add Quarterly Team Objectives as Sub-Objective at the bottom of the Annual Team Objective. This is the secong hieararchy.(Level3)
-Annual Company Objective(Level 1)
--Annual Company KR (Level 2)
--Annual Team Objective (Level2)
---Q1 Team Objective(Level 3)
----Q1 Team KR (Level 4)
---Q2 Team Objective(Level 3)
----Q2 Team KR(Level 4)
---Q3 Team Objective(Level 3)
----Q3 Team KR(Level 4)
..
I'm not sure you want to add Individual OKRs in this hierarchy because thing going to be complicated. But I think you got the idea :) My suggestion is you can seperate Individual OKRs if they are not cascading(i.e Personal development OKRs) or you can add as Key Results bottom of inclusive Objective.
2.a. You can link KR's to Objectives and Sub-Objectives(These are basically Objectives that have a parent Objective) but can't with KRs. Because we believe that a clear separation of Objectives and KRs is necessary for the OKR process to run smoothly. That's why we didn't include the ability to connect KRs with KRs in ConectoHub, but we are planning to add it in the future according to the need of users.
Objectives should be challenging and tells where you want to go but other hand Key results are a set of metrics that that need to be achieved in order to meet the objective. So, if you convert a Key Result to an Objective it would probably wrong.

2.b. You can re-arrenge the teams on the Teams page on the navigation: https://conectohub.helpscoutdocs.com/article/64-how-is-created-a-team
3. Key Results have metrics such as number, percent, currency etc. You can also link your initiatives, tasks, projects and milestones to the Key Results. You can not link a Key Result to another Key Result. They are the lowest tier of an OKR except initiatives tier.
Sub Objectives are Objectives that have a Parent Objective. They are all same with the Objectives. The other hand Objectives, can not be updated via their own metrics. They can be updated according to their Key Results progress. You can add an Objective to another Objective for cascading. We call it Sub-Objective.
Simply if you want to create different hierarchy between Objectives, you need to use Sub-Objectives.
4. In the Key Result detail page: https://conectohub.helpscoutdocs.com/article/97-tracking-kr-progress
5. No, not now but we are planning to add that feature.
6. Yes you can arrange that in the Teams page: https://conectohub.helpscoutdocs.com/article/64-how-is-created-a-team
Thank you taking the time to explain in details. I have already scheduled a call with Banu this Monday at 2:30pm GMT. I hope to get more clarification and then, hopefully I will add a few more codes.
