Q: Consolto also allows me to create manychat-like chatbot sequences or is it more focused on video calls?

We believe all these bots would be great to augment the personnel behind the widgets. That's why we're building this capability with the idea to start the conversation automatically with the bot and let it accomplish one of the following goals: answer customer questions, schedule a meeting with the agent, collect customer details and a few more...
We've already started working on this but haven't achieved the desired quality yet.

Hello,
thank god it's not another chatbot, but a very well thought-out communication hub. At least from what I have seen until now. Though in the future, I wouldn't say "nay" if they were implementing it for any eventuality. But I am shure the whole bot hype for customer support will soon normalise in favor of human interaction again - as it happened to webinars when live events arose.
