No more bombarding our customers with Whatsapp attachments

Not difficult to use, but does take a bit of a learning curve in order to fully utilize it.
No more bombarding our customers with Whatsapp attachments and having them complaining to us for sending so many attachments.
Now we just send a link and everything is there.
Everybody is happy.

The caveat which I really don't like is there is no folder organization for us to put in our media. Everything is just dumped in a common space and eventually takes us time to search of media if we did not tag it properly.

All in all, it's still a great buy, and glad that I've managed to stumble upon this.
Thanks Content Camel.

Wrangle the Drive with Content Camel

If you are often asked to share assets with prospects, partners, clients, and colleagues, then you might want to consider getting Plus and Content Camel!

Go check out what you can do for your sales and marketing assets here:
https://mysoftwareadviser.com/articles/organize-your-sales-and-marketing-assets-content-camel

Pros:
🌮 The interface is so easy to use and understand and it lets you access all sales and marketing collateral on a single platform, share, and track the views, so you can take action before the competition.
🌮 unlimited bandwidth for sharing content with anyone (like this https://content.mrdzyn.org/intro)
🌮 150 members is a lot

Cons:
🌮 no built in integrations, could use automated sending of content links via custom smtp email, etc.
🌮 image preview gets distorted while on thumbnail preview (inside the content) but does not affect the actual image itself
🌮 CNAME just lets you share the content, and it redirects to the actual file shared on their AWS S3 bucket

Buy or Not Buy? It depends..

Overall, Content Camel is very useful as it is right now, saving you the headache of multiple shares on your cloud drives, but definitely lacks features which its competitors already have.

This can actually be compared to Droplr which had a previous offering here on AS except that they have different use cases.

Cheers,
Mike

Thanks Mike!

Good notes. And we're just getting started -- there's plenty more inside and also things we're working on (agency account management, templates for published collections, CRM integration) 👍

5 tacos except for AGENCY and WHITE LABEL

This is definitely a hidden gem. User interface is well polished and quite mature, and it fits my use case: managing digital assets and share them with my clients. That is why I give Content Camel 5 tacos, even though there is room for improvement, esp. in the department of AGENCY and WHITE LABEL.

1. CNAME is already available, which is good, except that URLs for individual files are only forwarded, showing Content Camel's account on Amazon (AWS). Mental note: compare that with e.g. Publit.io

2. Shared collections are actually forwarded as well and defaulted to /sites. Wonder if we could customize that or get rid of it altogether. More importantly, unpublished URLs for shared collections are not recyclable, which is a let down.

3. But the most important thing is, are we going to get FULL WHITE LABEL? I mean not only for sharing URLs but also dashboard (currently app.contentcamel.io) as well as user invitations. This is what makes or breaks for many Sumolings, to be honest.

Cheers, mate.

Thanks!

We're working on making sure the URL is maintained (like for published collections and PDFs) across the board (all file types we can support).

We're also working on agency sub account management first and then may (or may not) offer account-level whitelabeling options. You're feedback is super valuable and we'll be listening to customers on this as we continue to grow.

Thanks!

Great

Very good. What I've been needing
Only issue ive had is selecting many items and tagging or categorizing doesn't seem to exist. If it does its not super intuitive.

Hi there!

Thanks! And, yes, to be clear, we're working on improving our bulk operations for tagging and categorizations.

Today:
* Import of CSV links allows for tagging and setting of categories on import
* Quick tag and individual tagging is available for each asset

Coming:
* Bullk selection / tagging. We actually implemented this along with quick tagging, but pulled it out because we ran...

Amazing! Works for allowing Presto Player (maybe other players too?) overlays, as a video source

I keep discovering more about Content Camel, and every time I do, I say "Wow!" Most recently I've been playing with some of my websites video sourcing and players and seeing what is and isn't possible. If you have Presto Player or other video player app, try it with Content Camel for yourself.

My use case Is I wanted an easily accessible database of a lot of my video content and media, that I or my team can share out, to be indexed by subject, topic, course etc, for the LMS courses that I am creating. And content Camel is GREAT for this purpose.. and for sharing large files instantly, to whomever needs them - through a link, or even a trackable link. Not only can Content Camel categorize and tag whatever I need according to how I set up a cross-referencing system, also, it can apparently serve that content up - fast.
So I recently uploaded a 1 hr test video upload to Content Camel, and on playback the very first time there was a 1/4 second or less lag with Content Camel after the initial upload completed (totally normal, even I would say, faster than a lot of website video) on the Content Camel portal. I loaded the same video to the the "Blazingly fast" video platform, and it had "no" lag after initial upload. However, after randomly starting the video at different points on the Content Camel upload, and playing with it a few times I notice it now loads up just as fast as the "Blazingly fast" video from the other product, with "zero" lag - pretty impressive! Not only that, the link to my Content Camel video can be provided to Presto Player on my WordPress website and now I can add overlays to it. I am beyond excited. Maybe other video players can access the CC URLs too? (try it and comment here).

Maybe my playing around with this gives someone else some helpful use-case scenarios. I feel like I've stumbled across a Goldmine with this for my Video and Media Content management. I feel really grateful to the creator of this product!

So here's a link to a short video clip (You'll be watching it hosted from my Content Camel portal) I made of this process (really rough..) shows me create an overlay (from Presto Player) onto a Content Camel hosted video that sets a clickable link back to the Appsumo website: Enjoy and hope it's helpful. https://ccml.io/Qwl5?sid=aad66

Awesome 🙌 Thanks so much for the review.

Great use case and love that you documented that for everyone here 👍👍👍

By using the short links -- you'll get aggregated analytics on those videos wherever they are used. I think that's a huge missing piece for all of us hustling across a variety of channels -- web, email, Linkedin, etc!

Thanks again!
