I typically don't throw around the word "scam," but...
Every time I see this in my purchase history, it just makes me angry that I fell for it.
Where to begin...
The whole user dashboard has an absolutely terrible UX that's designed simply to show you what you cannot access instead of what's available. It's built more to upsell than to deliver.
The UX of the dashboard looks like someone got a trial of Revolution Slider and Elementor Pro and just went WILD with the image slider option.
"Load More" buttons are everywhere and promise a frustrating experience that promises to never end. Oh and if you DO get to the end of options, the page will autoscroll you back to the top. HA! Take that, customer.
There's no apparent way to sort which categories or niches you have access to. Despite it saying in THIS very product listing that "categories and nitches(sp) included" that doesn't mean YOU get access to them, silly; just that they exist (apparently).
I've worked with AI, training it for clients, and am astonished at how poorly Contentpresso does with inputs. It boggles the mind.
But don't worry, your generated files aren't kept, so it's too bad if you ever end up losing them. Depositphotos has my download history dating back to 2017; VistaCreate (formerly Crello, a previous AS deal) keeps any file I've ever generated, but Contentpresso? You get a week.
The entire site just feels hostile to its customers, so it makes sense that the deal is non-refundable. Probably because they know they'd need to refund a significant portion of these orders (look at the reviews)!
Look, I hate the word "scam," but sometimes a deal just checks all those boxes and makes you feel like the idiot for trusting that something so terrible would be allowed here and non-refundable. So congrats, Contentpresso! You got my money for nothing, and I'll continue to have a bitter taste in my mouth every time I see your product in my purchase history.
But hey, I left my honest review, so I guess I can get those free credits promised on the site! Cause, you know, that's not a violation of Appsumo's terms or anything. Oops!

Feb 27, 2025We understand your frustration, and we hear you.
Your feedback highlights key areas where we need to improve, and that’s exactly what we’re working on. We’re actively refining the dashboard experience to make navigation smoother and removing unnecessary barriers that disrupt workflow. The AI image generator is also undergoing significant updates to improve accuracy and usability.
We acknowledge that the non-refundable nature of the deal has been a pain point, and while we can’t change past policies, we are focusing on delivering a tool that genuinely meets user expectations.
Your insights are invaluable, and we appreciate you taking the time to share them. Thank you for holding us accountable—we are committed to making Contentpresso better.
