I wanted to tell you about three changes we're making to the deal based on what you've said:
1. Stack 5 codes and get unlimited page views
2. Stacking codes now adds additional teammates (so 5 codes = 25 teammates)
3. We're adding sub-accounts so that you can create independent accounts for your clients (with their own app integrations etc).
The stacking updates are now live, and we're working to ship the sub-accounts ASAP. We'll demo the sub-accounts in next week's webinar and if possible will have them live before then.
I know that there have been a lot of requests to change our model from page views to unique visitors.
I completely respect the feedback, but this isn't easy for us to do. Our experience so far has been that more than 99% of users will be covered by 50,000 page views.
We hope that with the new unlimited option, the additional team mates and the sub-accounts you can see we're doing everything we can to show some ❤️ for the AppSumo community.

There's no limit to how many codes you can buy for sub-accounts. So 10 codes = 50 users total, which would be enough for 1 master + 49 sub-accounts 🎉
Because sub-accounts are a new feature we're adding for the AppSumo community, we don't yet have pricing for what will happen if you need more seats once the deal has ended.
We'll definitely a discounted rate on future upgrades...but you should probably buy as many codes as you need now 🤔

Thanks for the deal's update. I love your apps, it's quite easy to use & I like the landing page features. I'm thinking to stack to 5.
But some opinion; Although most of the founders see sumo-lings as an LTD hunter or a cheapskate, I do believe you realized that this is more towards a win-win situation, where most of us will provide feedback to the company.
However, not only that, but we also tend to promote the Saas that we love to our other communities (based on our background; marketers, developer & etc.). This is, of course, will help the company grow better & at the same time benefit ourselves for purchasing the LTD.
Thus, I hope you can consider finding a way to change the pageviews into unique PVs or interactions, even for your normal pricing.
As it would be a bummer if we're to promote you to other communities as most of your competitors are doing based on interactions etc..
But anyway, even if you're to stick with the pageviews, I really wish that you guys will grow to something bigger, & coming with more great features.

We'll be looking at the pricing model and plans again once the deal is over. It's really hard to get pricing right and this is something we'll want to take our time over,
We definitely want to have your support not just now but in the future. Whilst the deal is running, we're looking at options for a partner program and an online community (like a FB page or similar).

I think that's totally fair. If you think you're going to need them, you could buy 5 codes now and create sub-accounts for additional sites over time.
deos this work stand-alone? or do we need a subscription to Slack or other service for it to function?
You can use Continually without any other subscriptions.
If you do want to use Slack, you'll find their free plan is pretty generous and will cover most small teams no problem.

Hey there Sumo-ling!
You can use the platform a couple of different ways.
A single code = up to 5 sub-accounts and a total of 50,000 page views per month.
If you stack 5 codes, you get 25 sub-accounts and an unlimited number of page views 💪
Each sub-account can work across multiple websites but if you're running those websites as an agency you'll want to split them into their own sub-accounts.
If the sites all relate to the same business - they will use the same Slack integration etc - then you can share them inside a single account and use URL targeting to control which bot goes where.
The other option is to create sub-accounts. These are completely independent accounts that will have their own apps, bots etc.

If you stack 5 codes you'll get 25 accounts / sub-accounts.
When you create bots for your clients, you can disable the branding.
The code they add to their website will be something like:
<script src="https://cdn-app.continual.ly/js/embed/continually-embed.latest.min.js"></script>
So it does include our name in the domain. There was another comment on this page about obscuring this, which is something we'll look at.

You didn't listen, you just want profit, "stack 5 codes to get unlimited page views". This means you force people to buy 5 codes. 50.000 views per month are not even for small sites. Why you don't count how many times site users use Continually? Well, a refund is the only option for me, good app but what should i do when you can't use it with 50.000 limits?
