Q: How does this compare to the ActiveChat deal, where you can book meetings and much more while sending leads directly to a Google sheet?

May 14, 2024A: The reasons to use Continually are:
- it was designed for use on websites rather than Facebook
- your users don't need a Facebook account in order to ask questions or buy from you
- we have a great live chat integration through Slack
- we really focus on converting website visitors to leads, and hopefully that makes it easy for you to cover the cost of using our platform quickly
- it is much, much simpler to use.
You should check out Adam's review of our platform, which I saw this morning on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-H8yfhPwgrk
He's pretty direct with his opinions (as you'll have seen on this page), and his review is completely independent.
When we were building Continually, our goal was always to make it easy for non-technical people to use automation and bots.
We talked about this on our blog as giving your team superpowers (check out https://continual.ly/blog/giving-your-team-superpowers/).
For most people, having a powerful but complex tool is frustrating because the features get in the way of what you're trying to do.
We've spent a lot of time trying to simplify the process of building and installing a bot. We think that by making it simpler and easier, it opens up opportunities to use bots when otherwise you wouldn't.
We've loved hearing the feedback from the community here. We've heard the request for FB support and don't have a firm response yet.
For other requests - like sub-accounts - you can see that where we know something will benefit our customers, we respond quickly, We ship updates to the platform each week.
If there are other parts of ActiveChat that you love and think we're missing out on, let me know.

I was wondering the same thing. Do you know if activechat is available for websites yet? I haven't set it up yet so I wouldn't know, and read that it will be available for websites this year.
Following this! I bought 5 codes for ActiveChat for Unlimited capability...
How does this software compare to ActiveChat...
AKA why would I be motivated to switch to continually?
Thanks
I should have been more clear, I was somewhere else in this thread but anyway...
I Have purchased ActiveChat and QurioBot so I have to best of both worlds.
I was wondering what Continually has to motivate one to switch to their Software??
@CONTINUALLY
ActiveChat has not yet its website bot, but it isn't far away. From an initial glance, it seems like Continually is good for people who don't want the ActiveChat learning curve, and don't need the depth of customization that it offers. Continually looks very simple to set up and use straight out of the box, though it is very simplistic compared with what AC can do now and will soon be able to do.

ActiveChat (AC) is more powerful, but there is a learning curve. AC is multi-platform (FB, Website, Telegram etc.) and support NLP. While Continually is easy to use with lesser functionalities. In my opinion, for most small businesses, Continually is good enough.

This is not a Facebook messenger bot. Facebook is never mentioned
Hello Sinaloasehop, perhaps unintentionally your reply is misleading. Activechat bots (as I understand it) aren't limited to Facebook. The Activechat bots can go on Facebook or your website.

I have been waiting for a reply to this as well since I purchased unlimited activechat bots. Suprised to not see a response as this is the 3rd highest upvoted question. Oh well, that's money saved for other appsumo deals where the creators respond to questions!
Thanks for the reply!
ActiveChat will have website and slack integration soon too, but they also integrate with any other system through hooks and JSON with authentication.
While your tool is simpler, this usually means a trade-off in features and capabilities.
And ActiveChat isn't limited to the amount of page-views but to the amount of active users - which, to be frank, is the standard way to fairly measure usage of apps like these.

Spot on. This team has a great outlook and philosophy. I'm not an AC user, but I do have Drift. This is an excellent Drift Alternative.

Activechat now has live chat In beta

When more than 500 people ask you to change one thing in your offer and app creator do not listen, its the same as you shoot yourself in the leg before running a marathon!
Good app but in this offer useless!
Even with 3 codes one small agency will not survive! Too bad!
