I was hesitant and skeptical at first
So here's the thing.
At first there was some negativity regarding this deal with the stacking etc and that initially made me stop and think did i need another bot type solution.
Then after the stacking issues were looked at and Continually listened to the community an unlimited page view option became available - admittedly a 5 stack.
So once the deal became a viable option to use with sub accounts and the limit was relaxed on page views I decided to take the "free" trial available on the continually website.
The user interface looked really clean and pretty simple to use without having to resort to trawling through boggy support pages.
I really didn't look at any support page until I found a bug.
The bug was related to pasting URL's via Slack ( NOW FIXED)
I was a bit concerned because I'm in Australia and the time zone difference particularly when an issue arises on a Friday for me might not get addressed until a Monday for Continually which seems like an eternity when you have an issue.
This was complicated by the number of unanswered questions mounting up in the appsumo page which initially gave me the impression there was no support.
Anyway eventually the questions in Appsumo started to get answered quicker and the bug I found was acknowledged.
In the few hours after I received a response I decided to buy the deal and later I decided to stack the deal.
Here's why.
I saw some difficult questions being answered honestly by Paul and the mood sort of changed from neglected to supported.
I took a punt after Paul said the issue I had with some links I was trying to post via live chat would passed on to the tech team and they would fix the issue.
After I was given reassurance, and I could see action in this community, I decided to stack the deal because I have clients that need robust chat solutions and would also appreciate the automation of bot chat without the necessity to involve Facebook.
Sure a Facebook messenger integration would be good but there are advantages to having a system that doesn't require someone to share personal information prior to trusting you.
Anyway there are still some things I'd like to see from an agency point of view but I felt compelled to leave a review because I've been watching the questions and the threads and when I dived into the "updates" page I saw the fix to the link bug I had during live had been fixed.
I tested this immediately in Slack and the link posting issue I had was resolved.
Now there may be other features and nuances that could nice to have and some that are essential for an agency type use of Continually but the action taken and the responsiveness at this stage indicates there will be positive changes.
This is why I've left my review today.
For something simple to use that will work with multiple client situations Continually will get better. Best regards, David Schummy
