Q: How are document changes handled?
If we uploaded a document, and then need to change something in it, can we upload a new version of the document? Can a document in progress be replaced with an updated version so that all parties that have already signed are notified of the change and the need to sign again? Or, would this necessitate deleting the original document and starting over?
Need an answer ASAP on this. Thank you.

May 14, 2024A: Hi, thanks for the question:
You can upload as many documents and templates as you like. Once a document is sent, only the fields can be changed in accordance with the process you set. For example, if you code something as a Mandatory Recipient Field, then the recipient will be required to fill that in.
In the event, for example, the Recipient fills out the information incorrectly and signs the document, the only way to do it now would be to resend a new one.
We will have the "Request Amendment" feature (at least a few months away), that will allow the agreement to be "opened" again, the information corrected, and resent (as long as it wasn't fully executed).
thank you so much for the almost instant reply. sounds like the "Request Amendment" feature will be just what we need. As long as we know it's coming, we can do it manually for a while. Our whole purpose for this is to use it for group sign-offs on documents that are actually fluid during the first few rounds. As long as we can keep a document from being considered fully executed until we mark it as such manually, this could work.
Hi,
You may want to try the free version to make sure it meets your needs. I am not 100% clear on what your use case is. Another option would be to use a shared document and upload it when ready for execution.
