Great System to Get Business Flowing and Growing!

Although I’ve been researching how to successfully create an online coaching business for a while now, I’ve been stuck on choosing technologies. Finding an inexpensive system that can accommodate large list sizes and has all the features I want or need (or don’t even know I need yet) has been overwhelming or nearly impossible. I have the happy problem of starting with a 21,000+ cold-to-hot list from various ventures that were paused for a few years due to intervening circumstances, which at some point will be divulged in a book and movie. 

Anyway, having an email marketing system is crucial for an online business, and I’ve been looking for one. I also need landing pages, integrated sales processes, affiliate management, and other features that will boost all aspects of the coaching business, including SMS messaging, project management, invoicing, etc. Either I’d have to get these features with separate software and/or the systems are way too pricey for (re)starting with a large list. Looks like ConvergeHub includes a lot of features, though integrations often mean having to pay for those 3rd party services too. Still, ConvergeHub has some key native features to get started.

The HUGE plus in purchasing ConvergeHub is the one-time pay. I don’t think it is fiscally wise to pay for a subscription based model without having some income coming in. Even then, monthly fees eat at profits. But for now, it’s a compromise I’m willing to test.

ConvergeHub has limits at the “3 code” level to 10k, but it is enough to drip in my list to test how cold/warm/hot each contact really is and give me time to test the platform and my offerings before scaling worldwide as is my goal. Other CRMs are hugely expensive when scaling. I’m concerned ConvergeHub may end up being too expensive with monthly pay on addons.

Based on other AppSumo comments, I am very optimistic that ConvergeHub appears receptive to adding or revising features. That’s the makings of a great company that I’m willing to invest in. Just want to ensure that there is no cost to updates and adding features and that special addons remain affordable to its users.

I was referred to ConvergeHub and this AppSumo offer by a coach who coaches other coaches to create online coaching businesses. Although ConvergeHub does not have an online learning platform or membership area in its system (yet!), it has a substantial amount of features that are needed for managing an online coaching business, of which I’m VERY grateful!

I’m pleased to hear about features that other commenters expressed. I’m excited to explore all the ConvergeHub can do, and hopefully not take up too much time to do it.

As there is always room for growth and improvement, here is an initial list of potential concerns, key features that many not yet be in the system, and other unknowns I have yet to explore or find that are on the top of my mind (see next comment due to word limit)...

Good value

For me, to see a LTD on a CRM is a rare opportunity, so I took the opportunity when it arose

The platform is feature rich and while I didn't get a chance to test everything, what I did try out looked promising.

I had a couple of questions on my initial test of the software and support were swift to respond via email which is a good sign,

There are certain features like conditional logic for campaigns which are missing and would be nice to see in the future to allow for more advanced marketing. Certain staple payment gateways are missing as well, which would be a great addition if the team can find a way to weave these into future updates.

All Functionality but no Chat Support

I found the tool to be frustrating at times, myself I haven't used a dedicated CRM before - although I do have a highly technical background (I worked in the programming Industry prior) I thought I would take to it like a duck to water.

The issue for me was the documentation isn't complete, UI isn't always clear, no tool tips explaining buttons etc, also numerous bugs I've hit in particular Twilio, that hijacks your entire account and diverted every number of my clients to the CRM, luckly I picked this up quickly, but no mention of this or warning in the documentation. I had to change all the web hooks back in Twilio for every number all whilst all my clients customers were ringing into the CRM, talk about stress. I tried to call Converge Hub support number and no one picked up during this incredibly difficult time.

It's the little things that also get to me, like right now, I want to upload and create a 'call list' of say Plumbers in Manchester - I want to separate the entirely different campaigns. Whereas currently the system shows all leads - I can't progress forward, I've spent maybe 30 minutes hitting every function I can find - creating lists, trying to view leads only by which list they are in. In the end you submit a support ticket and wait maybe 6 hours for a response.

Now when you've got a sale agent billing you hourly, this is the last thing you want - if they just had a chat support widget you could contact them and they could help within 5 minutes. Can you see how a 5 minute issue can turn to a day offline.

That's the greatest weakness to the whole system. if they have a decent manned chat support it would be 5 star as the power is there.

When you want someone to adopt to your tool, then you need to hold their hand at the beginning as they are going through the CRM, onboard them correctly, as if I had to pay the full price that they are asking for non sumoling I would have surely thrown in the towel.

Sumolings drive will push through these issues and get to the bottom of the value, but I fear the lack of chat support will hinder the growth of the CRM - ticket support isn't enough - chat support is 101 for any serious SAAS I can't understand why they are not doing this. Lifetime value of a customer can be $10,000+ and converge hub is giving them the cold shoulder by saying your time and your business is not important enough for us to give you immediate support.

it's very tempting to give 1 star, but actually that wouldn't be fair as there is soo much value here and they do have responsive ticket support - but expect a steep learning curve. Chat support will become less relevant the more I familiarise myself with the system. Converge Hub please consider chat support

Powerful CRM

My name Maxcell Graves owner of Spinn Marketing here is my feedback on the Convergehub platform. I needed a platform that is user friendly a short learning curve. The Convergehub platform fit that bill and then some. They have great information on their website regarding train you on its operation. I like their short tutorials on how to use Convergehub. They have app story that gives you insight on all the third-party apps. When I have used other CRM platforms in the past integration was issue. Convergehub seamless integration third part apps and the use of piesync has made that process easier. If I had and issue their tech support is very quick to respond sometime same day or next day. I have been very impress with their support. Also the process of uploading data with cvs file was very easy. I am looking forward in learn and running marketing campaign on the platform. I would recommend them to friends or business associates.

fast support, works well

Haven't had a CRM in the business before. Convergehub works well, is reasonably intuitive, and the support is fast. A feature was added within an hour of asking for it! On that basis I can only see this product improving.
