Sep 3, 2025Hi 117085833876836970038,
Thanks for flagging this and I completely understand why this would be frustrating and concerning.
We’ve investigated the issue, and it looks like the problem is actually with our cookie scanner not detecting certain cookies correctly on some sites. Because of this, it may appear that cookies are being set without consent, when in fact they were simply missed in the scan.
That’s obviously not ideal, especially for a product meant to enforce compliance.
The good news: we’re actively working on this. We’ve already identified a more robust scanning tool and are in the process of integrating it into CookiePal. This will significantly improve detection accuracy and eliminate false alarms like this one.
In the meantime, I’d be happy to personally assist with verifying your setup to make sure no tracking cookies are firing prematurely. Feel free to reach me directly at lennard@cookiepal.io and I’ll make this a priority.
Thanks again for your patience and for helping us improve CookiePal every step of the way.
Best regards,
Lennard
