I wanted this to work but unfortunately, code must be placed in one location which is not compatible with Wordpress theme. If we place code where it is required, every theme update would require us to redo the CookieYes code. The cookie banner would not function properly on our site. Support was fairly responsive and tried to assist but it this app does not work for us.

It scanned my entire website, and described all of the cookies I have on my website for me. I must say I'm very impressed, it's an awesome piece of software to use.

I really like the tool, the range of functions is large. However, what I don't understand at all is why you can't delete websites that you have added or why you can only change them for 190 days. What if the domain or subdomain changes?

I was using another provider -- which was fine until I added AMP pages and then had too many pages for their free version.

- CookieYes Is simple to set up.
- It has optional privacy and cookie policy available (I already had a privacy policy, but I used the results of the scan to identify the cookies I have on my site to update it)
- I like the # of pages included, which is much more generous than the other app I was using.
- It's nice to be able to geolocate and show either GDPR or CCPA depending on visitor's IP (just realize that if you use this and then wonder why it's not showing up when you test -- it will be because you aren't in Europe or California -- guess how I learned this haha)
- The support service is helpful
- I don't have to worry about compliance now :)

CookieYes is very easy to set it up... And works in many languages. It is very flexible, we can make many adjustments in position, colors...
