does the basic stuff - support seems not to exist - better alternatives do

After initial excitement because I needed just such a tool for editing videos on my phone while on vacation, the lack of support led to frustration and made it necessary for me to look for alternatives. I found YouCut and as a consequence I will request a refund for my purchase.

👍 The good:
▪️ Basic functions of the Android Version do work well.
▪️ Theoretically, you get both an app for the Windows desktop and for the smartphone.

👎 The bad:
▪️ The activation for the Android version did not work (at least not for me).
▪️ Support does not seem to exist at the moment. You can also see here on AppSumo how long it has been since the last question was answered.
▪️ The app has very few fonts, stickers etc. in comparison. The features are there - but not very extensively filled.
▪️ Modern features such as auto-caption are completely missing.
▪️ The Windows application didn't impress me much with its interface. For instance, an annoying detail is that the initial screen layout isn't suitable for longer German words, making some elements unreadable.

If you're able to activate the Android app, CoolCut is indeed a well-made alternative with good basic featres. However, its functionality is still rather limited compared to other Android apps.

All in all, due to the lesser functionality compared to competitors and the lack of support, I deduct two tacos and settle on a mediocre three tacos.
The application is certainly suitable as a small editing tool for typical LinkedIn videos, but since there are better and cheaper tools available, I can't recommend it at the moment.

nicely thought out

coolcut video editor is nicely featured

most parts are easy to get to grips with

if you have slow pc or using big files then you can set the resolution for the editing file

eg if you upload 2k video then you can set the editing resolution to lower eg 720,

so there will be less lag whilst editing,

lots of other features

so software is worthy of 5 tacos

only thing letting it down is tutorials not very good.

how do I use keyframes ??

worth this price,
