I love Grammarly, and whilst it's one of my favourite apps to ensure that the content we produce reads well (essential for high conversion rates), is grammatically correct (essential for google rankings), and is truly unique (essential for checking the work our writers produce). But at $140/year for the premium plan per person it gets expensive fast.

After using copywritely on a few documents I think this app has a LOT of potential. So much so that I think this is a no brainer if you currently use Grammarly! Let me explain...

Right now, spelling, grammar and style checking is ok, but far from the level Grammarly operates. If you have a look at the appsumo comments and the copywritely roadmap you can see the creators are listening to the community and have made it a priority to improve this.

The plagiarism checking is quite good, and finds most items I have checked so far. The only issue right now I found is bits of text plagiarised by smaller sites don't get picked up as well as with Grammarly or copyscape. Reading the comments this is something they are working on.

The SEO content suggestions are interesting and seem as good as Webtexttool plus you get SERP checking features built in. But what I'm really excited about is a feature in the roadmap which will provide keyword and topic suggestions based off the top positions in the search engine results as you're writing an article like in CognitiveSEO :)

For me this is a diamond in the rough, which is not quite able to compete with Grammarly or Cognitive SEO right now, but once the team irons out some of the small issues mentioned and implements some of the user requested features this could become a super valuable app and one of your favourite Appsumo buys saving you many $100's a year.
