480p is only for your little video window when meeting. It should be plenty big enough for a good experience while chatting with someone.

As a podcaster I would like to use your software as an alternative to Zoom. I need video for social media and youtube. Youtube penalizes a bit low quality videos and 480 is quite low. Any chance to get a bit higher ? More importantly : what is the quality of the audio recording ? And which format ? MP3 ? WAV ? Separate tracks for the different speakers possible ? I would LOVE that ! Can't wait to read your answer and jump in if positive.

For work use-case: the 480p quality hasn't been an issue because the size of our video tiles is 640x480. So we only move the data we use, leave space for more people to join a call, and take the maximum number of people in a conversation to 150, similar to Google Meet.

I understand the feedback for smaller meetings or discussions like presentations or podcasts. For that, we intend to increase the video quality to 720p. When users are in a view where we can show bigger video tiles, we can improve the quality to 720p. Our video infrastructure allows for it; this change will come once our new UI implementation ships, with an ETA 2-3 weeks.

For recording: the format is mp4. Right now, all the speaker tracks are merged together. Over time, we want to separate the tracks as it will improve the summarisation and insights quality because we'll be able to tell chat gpt about speakers' roles as well. This is on the roadmap. I'd place it in 2-3 month roadmap.

It is essential to hear your needs and sequence. Some ETAs might change based on reprioritization based on sumo-lings feedback. We intend to underpromise, and overdeliver.
