Absolutely! We use exactly the same scanning technology under the hood and all improvements we make apply to both apps.

Beyond the underlying tech the two products are quite different. Covve Scan is super focused on business card scanning, providing a streamlined UX and set of features specifically designed for business cards. The Covve address book is a much more comprehensive product, helping people manage their business relationships (a "Personal CRM"). Just stating this here for the benefit of others reading this discussion.

Now, whether or not you feel you need both apps or are happy with just one is of course your call. We've had people who like keeping their business cards separate from the address book and as such having both apps makes a lot of sense. Others like some of the specific features of Covve Scan such as keeping the card image including the back side. Others of course are happy with just one of the two :)
