Personal CRM at its Best!

I was on full contact it completed ruined by contacts by creating lot of duplicates. Been using Covve for a few months now.

Pros -

1. Works well as reminders to touch base with your important contacts
2. Find duplicates really fast and suggests merge
3. Ability to filter via country and industry wise is the best feature
4. News about your contacts industry alerts so you have context

There are no Cons except I am a bit skeptical on how the leads feature works so I haven't tried it. I don't want to give access to my contacts to anyone. So haven't tried that.

Hya!

Really great seeing yet another Covve veteran! And really glad you’ve been enjoying Covve.

Regarding Leads, I think I did a good job of describing it in an earlier answer :) so allow me to paste it here as well!

“Now, allow me to explain a bit about our unique approach to contacts sharing. We believe in two almost contradictory principles:

a) That meaningful referrals and introductions can only come from warm connections between people (the kind of connections you have with people in your address book as opposed to, say, social networks).

b) That for most people, their addressbook is an important business asset which they’ve built over their whole career. It is not something they’d want to openly share!

As such we accepted the challenge to build a contacts/leads sharing mechanism for Covve which both allows you to expose and capitalise on the power of your address book while maintaining the privacy of your contacts and keeping you as the gatekeeper of your relationships!

This is achieved in Covve’s Leads in two ways:

a) Private details are obfuscated (a technique that’s actually patent pending): You search your Leads for the type of people you need (e.g. a senior lawyer in New York; someone mid-level in Barclays bank) and Covve will show you the profiles of your friends’ contacts without exposing who they are or their contact details. So Covve will tell you that your friend John is an excellent person to call about this request because he knows a number of people that match this profile.

b) Its all about the referrer: Covve doesn’t let you reach out to the lead/contact directly. Instead, Covve will pinpoint which of your friends is best equipped to make a meaningful introduction. You’ll then need to call/email them and have a real-world discussion! For us its all about the quality of referral than quantity.

Hope this makes sense. It is a complex and interesting topic we do feel quite passionately about. If you’d like to find out more you can check out our 2-minute overview video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9w5Jy3E1y0) but also a dedicated tutorial on Leads (https://vimeo.com/218916638 ; just note that this has been recorded on a previous version of our UI, earlier in 2018).”

All the best,
Alex
