What are past projects, failures, or successes you’ve had in your career?
I’m Simon Funk, co-founder of Creaitor.ai. For over 15 years I led a digital agency, building websites, applications and running online marketing campaigns. Our biggest ongoing struggle — and often failure — was producing enough high-quality, SEO-optimized content consistently. That pain inspired Creaitor.ai.
Since then, we’ve grown from an idea into a recognized product: Runner-up at Best of Swiss Web 2023 and, in 2025, multiple G2 awards including Leader and Momentum Leader. Our real success, though, is customers telling us that Creaitor has finally made content creation and publishing manageable.

What’s the origin of the idea for your product?
The idea came from my agency background: 15+ years of struggling to deliver enough content for websites and online campaigns. We’re passionate because content is the voice of every brand — and we want to streamline the content marketing lifecycle for any company, regardless of size or resources.
What problem is your product solving and how?
The problem: 90% of content online is never seen. Most businesses lack time, skills, or budget to create content that’s both engaging and optimized.
Our solution: Creaitor.ai combines content creation, SEO optimization, direct publishing, and brand consistency in one platform.
What’s the #1 thing you’re looking to gain from the AppSumo campaign?
Community feedback and adoption. We want to see how Sumo-lings use Creaitor in real workflows — and then use that feedback to make the platform even better.
