It's good for a beginner

Tried it out on some of our creatives to test it. The feedback it gave was ok for someone just starting out to put you on the right path however lots of the feedback would have made our creative more generic and stand out less by blending into the crowd with tired and dated language and concepts. If you need something to ensure you have the basics right then this could be good to try out but if you're wanting non-generic scroll stopping ad creatives that break the mould a little you might be unimpressed.

Thanks for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback, it’s genuinely appreciated.

You're absolutely right that many AI models, including ours, can struggle when it comes to mould-breaking creativity, especially without the right context.

That's why we’ve built in the option to provide Creative Score with that context. The context box on the upload screen allows you to add brand tone, target audience details, or what kind of creative you're aiming for. The more specific and advanced the input, the more tailored and less generic the feedback will be.

For example, if you add the below context:
"This is for a performance ad on Meta targeting ecommerce companies in the UK who are struggling to drive a positive ROI from their meta ads. The brand tone is irreverent, self-aware, and culturally sharp; think Oatly meets Liquid Death. We’re looking for bold, unconventional hooks that break category norms and make someone stop mid-scroll, not safe or generic language."

Then Creative Score would be far more likely to deliver insights aligned with your creative ambition.

Ultimately, Creative Score is an AI analysis tool, so the recommendations it produces are unlikely to be truly original. AI models are still some distance from great creative thinking or original ideation. But if you provide the right context, Creative Score is capable of evaluating the originality of your creative, and how effective it will likely be at stopping the scroll.

That said, we know this isn't always intuitive, especially given the endless directions creative work can take, so we're actively exploring ways to make the contextual input process simpler and more guided. Your feedback helps us prioritize that.
