Describe the creator you need and let it find them
Disclaimer: I'm a paid product tester for AppSumo and received this tool for free to provide a detailed review. My opinions are entirely my own, and my compensation is not tied to the rating or taco score I give.
Finding creators can get surprisingly time consuming when you have something very specific in mind. Creator Lookup lets you describe the kind of creator you're looking for in normal language instead of starting with a long list of filters.
What I find very useful is that I can ask for something like micro-influencers in a particular niche, location and follower range, and use that as the starting point. I can then narrow the results further with filters if I need to. It feels closer to describing the brief than searching through a database one field at a time.
I tested the natural-language search and it returned relevant creator profiles with follower counts, engagement information and links to their social accounts. The filters and location suggestions worked well too. Once I find people I want to come back to, I can save them to lists, and the search history makes it easy to revisit previous searches instead of starting again.
Creator Lookup also provides contact information for creators, including email addresses and, where available, phone numbers. That makes the results more useful than simply giving me another list of social profiles that I then have to research individually.
MCP and API access are also included, which is useful if you want to run creator searches, retrieve previous searches or export results from another application or AI assistant without having to switch context or procrastinate.
One thing to understand about the AppSumo deal is that campaign management isn't included in the self-serve product. The deal is primarily about finding creators, accessing their contact information, building and sharing lists, and exporting those results into whatever outreach process you already use.
Overall, I think the natural-language search is the best reason to look at Creator Lookup. If I already know the type of creator I want, I can describe that person in plain English and start from a relevant group instead of spending an afternoon searching profiles and assembling a spreadsheet. For me, that's a much more convenient and efficient way to do creator research.

Edited Oct 5, 2026thanks so much for this, seriously one of the most detailed reviews we've gotten and we really appreciate you taking the time. "describing the brief rather than searching a database one field at a time" is exactly what we have been going for.
one small thing to add: campaign management is actually on the roadmap for self-serve users very soon! it currently lives on our managed/agency side but we're bringing it to all plans. in the meantime the full discovery workflow, contact info, lists, exports, and MCP access are all yours. thanks again. if anything ever feels off just email me directly at [email protected].
