Such potential but the app is poor
Crello have made leaps and bounds since the last time they were on here, which is why I thought I'd give them another go. Their desktop interface is sooooo like canva, and they're not quite there but not far off. That would be good enough to keep me if the app was any good.
BUT...... there are some negatives which mean I can't keep it.
As an Android user my app functionality is really poor.
You can't change designs created on desktop in the app and you can't change designs created in the app when you go to desktop. Madness.
I can't create a branded item on the app because I can't put my hex code in, and templates are vastly reduced on the app. It has been confirmed by their support team that this isn't something they can help with.
There's no road map, just emails from support to say 'the team are working on this feature but there is no timescale'.
For a piece of software like this the app is vital and I'm annoyed that the functionalities would be there if I was an Apple user, but as an Android user it's not something I have access to.
I was so hopeful. I'd even stay if I could see what improvements are in the pipeline but that's not available. I'm sorry to be getting a refund but I don't see any other option.

May 9, 2024Hey Terri, we appreciate any feedback and mentioning things that can be improved actually leads to fast improvements from our end. Seamless integration between the desktop and the IOS/ Android version is in our plans and as for the roadmap, we will take this notice seriously and there will be a roadmap added to Crello. We are here again (another deal launched on Appsumo) to collect your feedback and prioritize things that should be added to Crello first, then second etc. After we see a clear picture, we are pretty sure that there will be a public roadmap. We hope that you will reconsider your decision about leaving Crello as from the last time we were on Appsumo, all the most user-requested features were built:
- brand kits, more free images added (1-mln Unlimited library of high-res images, videos and vectors is now available);
- more animated effects, ability to incorporate sound/music into your design;
- more variety in our templates, new formats were added
-unlimted background removal tool
What is in our plans so far?
- Taking the team cooperation on the account to the new level
- More functionality for the IOS/ Android apps, adding more mobile-friendly templates
- Enhance our API solution
