Q: Hi Andy Once I have recorded a meeting audio or in the near future video.
1/ Can I download the recording to my hard drive.
2/ Can I then delete the recording completely from the Crikle server if I wish to.
This is a important requirement for me to be able to do.
Thanks for any help.
Regards
John
Hi JMC,
Thank you for reaching out and for your question. Yes it is possible at the moment to download your Crikle audio recordings on your desktop, our video recording feature hasn't been released yet, watch the space this feature is due to be released soon, I'll have more information then :) With regards to your second question Our audio recordings work on a first in first out (FIFO) principle; in order to keep within your limits we will automatically delete your oldest ones first. We suggest making regular backups by downloading the audio recordings to your hard drive. This can be done by opening the ‘recap’ tab in the meeting, scrolling to the audio recording, and clicking ‘download’. Our engineering team is working hard to make it easier in the future to manage your storage space. I hope this helps, Thank you, Caps

Hi
Thanks for your reply, however it does not answer my number 2 question fully.
I already was aware of your FIFO principle, but I am asking if I can delete my recordings myself as I see fit.
If, not. When will Crikle be updated to allow for self deleting my own recorded video and audio files as and when I see fit. Can you give me a timescale on this function being implemented.
This is important for my use of your system.
I am a purchaser of your Tier 2 offer by the way.
Thanks for any help.

John
Hi John, thank you for reaching out and for your patience. We do not have any ETA just yet with regards to the ability to delete your own recordings sorry. Our engineering team will be at your disposal and will delete, at your request, any data that needs to be deleted. Our product and engineering team are currently studying different ways to implement this new feature. I hope this helps, thank you again for your patience and your support. All the best, Caps
