Q: What's up, Sumo-lings!
Alice from Crikle here.
👇Here's a cheat sheet of FAQs for you to browse👇
💬 What resolution is Crikle presenting in?
When using the Crikle presentation function content is displayed in the full resolution that the video, image, slide is uploaded at.
Crikle dynamically serves content at the maximum resolution a participant can view, up to the original resolution of the uploaded content. This means if you need to showcase content in 1080p, 4k or more, we have you covered 🔥
When screen sharing, content is shown in 720p, the industry standard resolution.
💬 What resolution are video feeds in?
In meetings your video feed will be experienced at a standard 720p, depending on your bandwidth.
💬 What is a host user?
A host user refers to the person hosting and leading a Crikle meeting, they are the Crikle account holder who is in charge of the meeting functionalities.
💬 Can I hold meetings simultaneously on my account?
Yes, you and your team members could all host different Crikle calls simultaneously! 🧑💻
💬 How does storage on Crikle work?
Within Crikle there are two storage limitations:
Recording 📹
Depending on the license tier you have purchased, you will have either 32, 160 or 480 hours of audio storage available. Our audio recordings work on a first in first out (FIFO) principle, so in order to keep within these time and storage limits, your audio recordings will automatically delete from oldest to newest. We suggest making regular backups by downloading the audio recordings to your hard drive.
Uploaded Content 🗂
Depending on the license tier you have purchased, you will have either 3 GB, 15 GB or 45 GB of content storage available. Any deleted Crikle HD presentations or checklists will not count towards your storage limit.
💬 Are your meeting & scheduling links static or dynamic?
Each meeting and scheduling link is dynamic and will change when the host creates a new meeting. On our roadmap are 2 exciting developments to add even more flexibility:
Instant call links- with personal meeting links. Customers can simply click on a link to connect to a call directly with the host
Direct scheduling links- for quick access to scheduling. Customers can choose available times for meetings, and create and book new meetings directly with the host (easily embedded to websites and email footers).
💬 Is Crikle available in other languages?
At the moment, Crikle is only available in English. We’ve had multiple requests for the platform to support additional languages, this has been scheduled in our roadmap to progressively add additional language support 🌎
💬 What does whitelabeling include?
Crikle users can create fully customisable waiting rooms, presentation areas and out-of-meeting communications for their customers by uploading their company name, logo, tagline, colouring and browser icon.
On our roadmap is to add customizable domain names to our whitelabeling, this is a feature we hope to implement shortly.
