me reflect in google calendar as well? Our current on-premise CRM software doesn't do that and causes a big disconnect when it comes to communication.

Thanks for your question. I am afraid there isn't such a plan in the upcoming roadmap, but setting up outbound email by Zoho SMTP is certainly not a problem.
