Set up Is so confusing and there is no real support
I have not been able to get this set up. The support people take over 24 hours to respond. They respond via email with links to articles that are difficult to follow because they screens don't match up. I am guessing like everybody else they are having support issues due to the pandemic. So I am not upset about it> i just wish it was easier to set up.
They use terms that mean nothing to a new user. For instance when you set up the account it creates a "Super User" as one of the users and then set up a user with my email. I have no idea how to login to the "Super User" to add new users or modify the other user profile created. I really want to use this tool but without any response this may be one that I ask for a refund.
Killer App - This is a legit CRM with a real engine under the hood.
This is the first real CRM I’ve seen on AppSumo since I’ve joined so am very happy to be able to get this at a fantastic price. I looked at this platform years ago as an open source application called Zurmo. One of the standout features was the way it incorporated gamification amongst an organization’s sales team. The only problems were that, as an open source application, setup and configuration was too difficult (for me anyway) and there was no support to address problems, updates etc.
Through this CRM.me SAAS offering on AppSumo, you get a dedicated company behind this platform that takes care of all the backend configuration/hosting, can address issues with the system, provide support to customers etc.
This CRM has tons of functionality and flexibility. This breadth and depth of features has come from years of development by a diverse community of enthusiasts (as well as the dedicated dev team in the Red Lotus/CRM.me universe). You can poke around in the system and find all kinds of cool things it can do. To me, having a lot of options is great but you don't have to configure everything to get up and running. I look at this like I look at going on a cruise: you have lots of options but few obligations.
If you have a sales team, this CRM is a match made in heaven. The gamification features are outstanding. They've got default elements, such as badges, already active when you first start to use it. They've got a point system, coin accrual, overall stats for defined areas such as New Business, Communication, Sales etc. You can redeem coins for different incentives you can define for the team. You can also find coins and badges as you use the system. I can really see how a sales team could get drawn into this.
To me, CRM.me is a very unique offering and opportunity. This thing has way more horsepower than you would expect to get on a LTD for a high demand product category. It also has a playful nature to it, which is something you don't expect from a type of software most people don't think of as fun to use.
As i'm writing this, the product only has seven reviews and levels out a three tacos. Don't let this discourage you from taking a look at it. You really have to go in and poke around a little and see for yourself. I was amazed.
If there was one thing I could improve with the system, it would be to have more integrations. The unencrypted password in my email confirmation in the setup was a little surprising but you just go in and change your password and you're good to go.
Overall, great job to the team at CRM.me on bringing to market such a powerful product and thanks to the AppSumo team for bringing this to us. It was worth the wait!
I am fan of CRM.ME from Zurmo day. So when this deal got listed I bought 4 coupon immidiately. I have been advised G Suite Integration is currently not operational due to Google Data Policy. I am sure if other crm systems are able to access the same data then it is matter of writing appropriate integrations. For us G Suite is our productivity suite and not able to connect is creating inefficviencies.
We like the product and hence if wr get confirm timeframe we will wait for the code to be available but currently support is not able give any timelines.
Mobile App is not available or if it is there I couldnt find the link asssociated. Can you please advise if Gsuite integration will be available soon.
Yes indeed it has bells and whistles but it has much more than other apps that strive to be 'just ' crms. This comes in handy in organizing leads and funneling them just right
