I am always available to assist you in any way I can.
That’s what I am saying,it’s not working since more than a week the automatic posting from the queue
Q: I have a few questions that I am hoping you can answer:
1.
Does Curatora support automated posting to Instagram? For example, the ability to schedule a post for a specific date and time, and it posts automatically to the desired Instagram account.
2. Does Curatora support Instagram and Twitter RSS feeds?
3. How does Curatora compare to something like RSS Ground or RSS.com?
4. What kind of runway does your team currently have for Curatora specifically? I ask since you mentioned in another response that this is one of other studio projects, and it's a cost-effective model. A rough ballpark is fine.
Thank you for your interest in Curatora! I'd be happy to answer your questions.
1. Yes, Curatora does support automated posting to Instagram. You can schedule your posts in advance and Curatora will automatically post them to your desired Instagram account at the scheduled time.
2. Curatora supports custom RSS Feed / Sources. You can easily add them to your Content Streams and use them to curate content for your social media accounts. But as of now, you cannot add direct Twitter or Instagram Feed URLs but a valid RSS Feed URL.
3. Curatora is a content curation platform that focuses on helping businesses find and share engaging content on social media. RSS Ground and RSS.com are both RSS feed management tools that allow you to collect and organize RSS feeds from various sources. While all three tools have similar features, Curatora offers a more robust set of features for social media content curation, including automatic scheduling of posts, content categorization, and hashtag recommendations.
4. Yes, Curatora is a startup product developed by Sizmic Labs, which is a startup studio. Sizmic Labs has sufficient resources to manage all of its products, including Curatora, and has dedicated short teams and shared teams for each product.
Please feel free to reach me at imtiyaz@curatora.io, if you have any questions. I'd happy to answer.
Q: Hello, I tried curatora again and found some issues preventing me from buying
1) I was unable to find a way to add a custom source.
From your docs, it should be possible, but didn't find a way. So that's slightly problematic, however, I reached out to your support last week and still haven't heard back....
2) I am looking at your roadmap and 2 things stuck out to me. Firstly, there are very few new ideas planned, to me it suggests not very engaged current user base + not super strong and creative ideas from the team. Second, there are no real major updates and improvements planned. So it seems like the product will stay more or less the same for a pretty long time.
Lastly, a question about your plan -- let's say I buy Tier 1, where will the curatora branding appear?
When I schedule a post on Twitter for example, is there going to be a reference about curatora?
Yes, you can add custom sources. When you hover over your content stream name there appears a gear icon appears, when you click on this gear icon you see a page to Manage Topics and sources, Click on the Plus (+) button on the right side bottom to add a custom source.
To remove the confusion we have removed Curatora branding from the Tier 1 plan as well, so there will be no curatora branding on the Tier 1 users.
Please feel free to contact me at imtiyaz@curatora.io if you need further assistance.
Ok thanks, I grabbed a code to test this for real - will be in touch regarding the sources, because I did see that I can change the sources, but not that I can add a custom website not in your database
Lol not sure what to say... I tried it, connected 1 social media account -then went to connect sources (maybe 15 topics) and now for almost an hour it's been loading.. .
What should be the normal wait time? This doesn't seem good
Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Can you please email me at imtiyaz@curatora.io? I'd be happy to give you a product demo and answer your question on a quick Zoom call.
Q: Hi,
I'm thinking of using your tool to monitor our industry to see what collegues and competitors are doing.
The sharing part is step two. Is this possible and say I have a list of 1500 websites/rss feeds. Can I add these so that new content will appear? And how does this work with 25 content streams? -Thanks, Jos
Hi, I asked in your tool (in Support) a question about how to add my own RSS feeds, where do I receive an answer? It's been almost a week and trial is almost over. Thanks. Jos
your tool looks promising but I was unable to add my own RSS feed. I asked here and in the support section of my trial account. No response sadly. So I decided to stop. Now I want to delete my test account but are unable because the delete account confirmation button is put behind your popup to purchase a paid version. Good luck with the tool.
Q: The social media connections still haven’t been updated - it’s the last piece keeping me from purchasing
I apologize for the delay in getting this updated on AppSumo. We did make the change internally in our system and have also updated our pricing on the website.
https://curatora.io/pricing/
You can also read more about this and more updates on our blog here: https://curatora.io/appsumo-launch-a-look-at-the-changes-and-updates/
We have already asked AppSumo to update the deal page and it should be done soon. But if you purchase it now, you should get the updated package.

Q: Hi
Something wrong with your search, sometimes it says zero but when I try the same search again a ton of content.
I could understand why people saying its not working but it seems just to be a silly bug.

Q: I like the concept of Curation.
I operate a media site and my question is regarding copyright.
If we use the image from an RSS feed and we use them in a post in our Wordpress website, how do we protect ourselves from being sued by other media who owns the copyright of the images?
Well, attribution is an important part of Content Curation. There is absolutely no problem when you share third-party content while properly crediting the author and the source.
However, if you come across any source which has a copyright policy in terms of using their images, you can always use a different image. You can easily use the Unsplash search feature and pick a different image. Moreover, you can even use the Image overlay feature to add a caption to the image with just a lick.
Well, most copyright images will have the copyright information overlayed on them. But that may not be always.
At the moment we do not have a proper FAQ on this topic. But we can get something together soon. If you can drop me an email at akram@curatora.io, we will update your when the content is ready.
Q: Since you're a startup studio, how can we make sure that this startup project gets your continual attention?
It seems like you have 5 other projects live on your stusio website.
So when you said, in another comment, that you were 12 people - were you then saying connected to Curatora or the startup studio?
The studio model enables us to give our products ample time to incubate and reach their growth potential before establishing a dedicated team. With a shared experienced team that works across all our products, we can deploy quality resources whenever and wherever needed, making it a cost-effective approach.
Additionally, there is a small team, led by Imtiyaz, exclusively dedicated to building and growing Curatora.
The content is pulled in between every 1 hour to 24 hours based on how frequently a source is updated. It also depends on which sources are subscribed to (Being used) by our users. For the sources which are not in use, the frequency is much low.
Q: This looks interesting, but there is nothing more frustrating than seeing newly launching products like this ...

I trust you can understand this and hope to see some tutorials/ demos.
hi, you mentioned you'd have a demo video by feb 22nd. just curious as to where i can find this please?
Q: I have the tier 2 since few days and i wonder why it’s still show up the curatora url when i share content ...
on social media and not the original url of a post? The automatic sharing options are very limited…the minimum automatic posting from the queue is 3 per hour. And if i need 3 per day on specific hours i have to schedule the content «manually and this cuts the appetite. Besides to appetize it won’t be bad if the ai would generate the hashtags in captions
Well, if you turn on the Share As Native feature from Stream Settings, the original post URL will be shared without any tracking.
But when you share the content using the regular share box, then we need to make sure that the social network gets all the OG meta tags. A lot of sources do not properly include these Metas on the post pages, therefore, we use our short URL which supplies the social network with all the OG Metas. And the short URL will also help us tracks clicks for performance analytics and AI learning.
I understand the issue with the hourly sharing limit. We are making changes to the setting so that it will allow you to set up automation per day and specific hours. These new settings should be ready by tomorrow.
Well, we can suggest hashtags based on the content. I'm taking this as a feature request and we will get back to you on a timeline for this feature.
We are creating short videos to explain all these features and how they work. We should have these videos ready shortly.
Since the first day I bought curatora while testing out and when i did the settings the share posts as native button is activated but still tracking by the app .
Can you try publishing now. There seems to have been an issue with the setting. It is resolved now.
Q: Hi,
If we can publish to 5 social media connections per content stream, that would mean that in Tier 3 that ...
we could publish to 25 streams x 5 = 125 social media connections…right?
But then it says that we only get to connect 50 social media accounts for that tier, so how should this work? This would mean that we can connect only 2 social media accounts per workspace, which would have the keywords for one brand, and then another 2 social media for the other workspaces for other brands….well, that‘s not feasible. No brand / workspace (= content stream) requires only 2 social accounts to connect and be published to. Even 5 is mostly not enough. We connect for each “brand / content stream” the following: — Facebook — Insta — Twitter — Pinterest — YouTube — TikTok — LinkedIn — Reddit and/or Quora — Medium and/or Wordpress — WhatsApp / Telegram / Discord — plus often times 1-2 more niche platforms like Behance, DevianArt, Dribbble, Vimeo, SoundCloud, imeem, Tumblr, Athlinks, Flipping Pad, Kaboodle, Houzz, Meetup, and what not.
So that’s easily 10-14 social accounts for each brand. How could this be accomplished with your offer?
Thank you for contacting us. Please find the answers below:
1. Topics are like Categories and RSS feeds are sources. However, Sources can repeat in related topics.
2. Well, if you add a source that has its content behind a Paywall, then your users may not be able to read it. That's why we have tried to avoid most of the sources which have paid content.
3. Please find the definitions below: - Content Source is a Website or an RSS feed. Ex: Open AI Blog
- Topic is a collection of sources. It is similar to a Category. Ex: AI & ML
- Stream is like your project. You can name it anything you want and add sources or choose topics. Ex: You can name your stream "AI Updates By Akram". It may have multiple Topics like AI & ML, NLP, Neural Networks, etc.
- Social Networks / Accounts are your social accounts where you would like to publish your curated content. You can connect your * Facebook Group, * Facebook Pages, * Twitter, * Instagram, * LinkedIn Profile, * Page, and * WordPress sites For auto-publishing your curated content.
4. We currently have 10 developers and a couple of marketing and biz guys on our team. Curatora.io is a product of Sizmic Labs Private Limited and we are backed by strong revenues from our service and consulting business.
5. Well, if you try to use Google to discover content, you cannot check out 100s and 1000s of sources manually. And it is not doable on a regular basis. Whereas Curatora makes it easy to discover with its simple UI, powerful curation features, and AI that helps you choose relevant content in a shorter time. All in all, this will reduce hours of daily work to minutes of weekly work.
6. Once you start curating content and publishing it to your social platforms the AI will start learning your content preferences and also track which type of content is performing better on your social media. Based on all these parameters it will start suggesting relevant content on top of your stream.
7. When you curate a post, you can write your own opinion, commentary, or caption before publishing the content. Along with a custom image and other annotations. That is how you create content with curation.
1. Ok I got some idea. I want to use it to publish curated content on my WordPress blog, is it possible? Can I publish content on Tribe (community platform) blog?
2. How can I create AI captions, and add photos I am confused with this part.
3. Can I use it for market research and competitor analysis, means look at topics and see what sources do you have but if I add some of my own sources, how do I find value from it, will I know how do these sources update content or what?
4. How prominent is your Curatora branding, can I see screen shot, I want to know what my blog subscribers will see? Also apart from customizing images and adding AI captions (which you need to explain me), is there a way for me to quickly review content sources without spending too much time on it. Do you plan to offer some way to do so?
5. How do you source your AI model, what kind is it? Generative model, classified model, borrowed from Open AI, integrated with free tools like Chat GPT or what?
Q: Does the app offer Twitter hashtag feeds?
And do you have API to get the content of the stream out to another app?

But then it says that we only get to connect 50 social media accounts for that tier, so how should this work? This would mean that we can connect only 2 social media accounts per workspace, which would have the keywords for one brand, and then another 2 social media for the other workspaces for other brands….well, that‘s not feasible.
No brand / workspace (= content stream) requires only 2 social accounts to connect and be published to. Even 5 is mostly not enough.
We connect for each “brand / content stream” the following:
— Facebook
— Insta
— Twitter
— Pinterest
— YouTube
— TikTok
— LinkedIn
— Reddit and/or Quora
— Medium and/or Wordpress
— WhatsApp / Telegram / Discord
— plus often times 1-2 more niche platforms like Behance, DevianArt, Dribbble, Vimeo, SoundCloud, imeem, Tumblr, Athlinks, Flipping Pad, Kaboodle, Houzz, Meetup, and what not.
So that’s easily 10-14 social accounts for each brand.
How could this be accomplished with your offer?

May 14, 2024A: Hi Co8x,
We understand there has been a lot of confusion regarding the number of stream connections.
We are revising our packages and we are inclined towards removing the stream connections limit to keeping things simple.
We should be able to announce these updated package details by tomorrow.
Thanks,
Akram

Q: Hi, 1.
Can you clarify how do you select topics and RSS feeds, how are they different in context of your tool?
2. Is your tool use mainly to discover, curate and publish free content on internet or can it pick content behind pay wall, if yes then is that legal?
3. Taking an example of one code, can you explain difference between content sources, websites, social media accounts? Terms seem bit confusing.
4. Where are you based, team size and years in business?
5. Is it fair to say, main value of your tool is easy discovery of content , but someone can search it directly on Google as well.
6. What is your AI model, how does it work?
7. How does your content creation work, explain me your logic please.
Thanks

May 14, 2024A: Hi There,
Thank you for contacting us.
3. Please find the definitions below:
- Content Source is a Website or an RSS feed.
You can connect your
* Facebook Group,
* Facebook Pages,
* Twitter,
* Instagram,
* LinkedIn Profile,
* Page, and
* WordPress sites
For auto-publishing your curated content.

Hello,
Thanks

Also it seems you are working on API, web hooks and Pabbly integrations. What are the use cases, in which these integrations will help?
Can you integrate Kconnectzit as well?
Thanks
