Q: Reposting the query again as the question didn't get answered in a thread: https://appsumo.

Query - If the Tier 2 is for personal use and each of the startups added will allow the owner to view/edit/delete all the startup data, how does the portfolio manager feature differ wrt ownership & accessibility of the data?
Will the portfolio manager feature allow the owner to add new startups (20 now with the option to buy more) and not be able to view their data unless the portfolio startup decides to allow for it?
The use case is something similar to an agency which may want to allow their clients to use this manager solution. And not be concerned that their data might be accessible by the agency, unless they would want to share that.

May 14, 2024A: Hi there v8 👋
Apologies for the missed post earlier. Regarding ownership of the data, the client who creates and inputs data to the startup will always be the data owner. They will have the ability to opt-out of the portfolio and take the data with them. In your case, regarding the agency, there will be a designated person who is the administrator of the portfolio. The default setting will be that the administrator will be able to go in and view the data of the startups in the portfolio. There will, however, be an option (chosen by the agency/administrator) to toggle off the default option of viewing the data and keeping it private to the clients. But this will be a choice made by the agency, not the client.
Hope that helps and happy Friday 🙌
