The UI could be better and feels kinda slow even though it's mostly just textual data.

I don't think it's an actual latency or server issue, but something about the ui and animations that makes it feel sluggish like others have mentioned. Maybe because each time you click something it takes the site a second to load some data data before anything changes. Maybe it'll help to change the page immediately and load the content as they come in.

There's also features I completely missed due to the way the UI is designed. After trying it an hour I figured there was no way I missed the cap table feature and initiated a refund. Then re-bought it when I learned otherwise from support.

There's also other little things - there's no button to undo or reset a section. I deleted a section because I didn't like what I filled in and also had deleted some statements but wanted to re-read the tips -and expected there to be a way to add back a section with everything reset. I just ended up deleted the entire project and re-creating it. And now know to be careful not to play around too much.

Anyways, it sounds like I don't like it — but I like it. I hope it gets continually improved upon - not just the stuff on their roadmap but also the design of the product and tools.

It makes fun of what can be a challenging task.

The sign up / set up process definitely has issues.
To invite other people, they have to sign up to their personal account - and then you can invite them - annoying and needs attention.

This morning I went to log in, and it won't let me. My username and password is saved by Google - so I know it's right - but the system has some kind of error.
No option to even reset the password to get around it. Effectively, I'm locked out till support is back on Monday. Annoying.

It would be great it it could remember some of your company details - we run multiple businesses, so address etc would be nice.

I am sure they will get these worked out.
Meanwhile, it has its frustrations.

Super value deal. Founder listened to community and made everything available in 2 tiers.

For less than $100, for unlimited access you will NEVER come across anything as good as Scuttles.

This is a really great product. It made building business plans quick and easy. Im super excited to see the portfolio features rolling out.

I only have two criticisms:

1. It's a little sluggish and the dragging items to relocate them is a little glitchy. This isn't a deal-breaker, just less than ideal.
2. For those MBA-level users hoping to build your model here, export it to Excel, and then be able to run data simulations/risk modeling - this isn't feasible. The Excel exports are extremely basic and are not driven by formulas. It's also not exporting all of your quantitative values (more of a summary of top-level numbers). This was disappointing. Fingers crossed for future improvements.

All of this said it's an excellent product and I wouldn't let it hold you back. Pick up a copy and start planning your business like a pro.

I bought this because I used to use another app for this called BizPlan. But when I saw the part on Unlimited Plans, I jumped on the highest tier. I been using this app for the past few days, now it is part of my workflow in the office. It allows me to forecast my financial position and make decisions that are informed.

I wish Cuttles the best. I am a big fan and hope they app finds greater audience and greater success.
